Barry Landis is a natural dealmaker and consensus builder.  He understands how to make money—his business strategies have been responsible for the sale of nearly a billion dollars worth of music, film and home videos over his career. During his term as President of the legendary Word Label Group, he led the company in a remarkable financial turnaround from a - $10 million EBITDA to a + 10 million EBITDA in three years.    A Warner Bros. employee for 20 years, he distinguished himself as a strategic marketer and pragmatic businessman all the while developing deep relationships within the creative community, which allowed him to cross pollinate many divisions within Time Warner, including Atlantic Records, Curb Records, Time-Life, AOL, Turner Home Video, TNT Television, The Warner Music Group, The WEA Corporation as well as many outside partners such as PBS Television & Readers Digest.

Today, his Nashville based consulting firm, Landis Entertainment & Media Partners, is a boutique entertainment advisory group focused on music and film.   In 2008, he was hired to run the theatrical marketing and distribution campaign for a film on the life of Billy Graham called Billy: The Early Years.  Having negotiated scores of record and DVD deals, in 2009 he was hired to secure a deal for one of Hollywood’s leading independent film companies, Gener8xion Entertainment.  In 2010, he was named head of New Business and Strategic Acquisitions for City On A Hill Studio in Louisville, KY and was hired to develop grassroots marketing for an independent film shot in Texas staring Robert Duvall called Seven Days In Utopia.  Most recently, his company was contracted by Sony/Provident Films to join the marketing team for the feature films The Grace Card and Courageous.

He is the founder of the Nashville Faith in Film Breakfast Club as well as The Briner Institute, a Tennessee 501c3 entertainment industry think tank.   He is the chairman of the membership committee of the Nashville Chapter of NARAS (Grammys), has been executive producer on countless music projects and he has more than 25 Gold or Platinum sales awards from artists with whom he has worked.  Christian Radio/Retail Weekly Magazine calls him one of the Top 50 Most Influential People in America.
